This project was done in 2007-2008 in collaboration with the Software Association of Oregon (SAO). The webstore was designed to reflect the look of their original website and offer SAO members branded products, tickets to events, and other discounted merchandise.
Along with the creation of this site, I developed a custom lead generation program that would provide an opportunity for companies to advertise their product(s) or service(s) through the SAO web store. During the account creation process, SAO members would be given an opportunity to select discounts to various products and services offered by SAO business partners. With the SAO member’s permission, their contact information would be routed to the participating company they select.
Together with the lead generation program I developed a sponsorship program for the non-profit SAO organization that entitled those that signed up to banner ad space on the SAO store home page, placement in the SAO store lead generation program, sponsorship recognition at SAO events, and the ability to sponsor custom branded gift cards.
Due to several different factors, including a change in structure at the organization, The SAO Store project was terminated. The site remains active for reference only. Please note: Orders made on the webstore will not be honored.
